S P Jain’s BBA offers students in-depth knowledge in two specializations : Marketing and Finance.

Marketing
This specialization prepares students for careers in marketing, providing hands-on experience in employing the principles and best practices that trigger contemporary marketing. Students learn about topics such as global marketing, e-commerce, services marketing, brand management, and buyer behaviour, all critical for effectively and efficiently marketing products and services.

Finance
Finance has evolved as one of the major fields of business, practised by executives in the administration of company funds or by executives in the financial sector working in financial markets/institutions, IT or consultancy firms. The specialization covers topics such as financial statement analysis, financial markets, investment management, providing graduates with the broad understanding necessary for a bright career in this sector.
Students may specialize in either Marketing or Finance. The program includes several liberal arts subjects to impart a well-rounded education. Students choose courses from a menu of certificate programs such as a foreign language, negotiation and mediation, and innovation, which are conducted during the academic year, as well as through intense summer programs.
Another unique feature of the program is the industry interface Action Learning Project. Groups of three to four students engage with local companies to submit consultant level reports and analysis. This offers students significant, first-hand exposure to the real corporate work world.

The program is uniquely crafted and focuses on character building, personality development and critical thinking apart from a rigorous academic curriculum.
To fulfill the requirements of the BBA degree, a student would be required to complete 24 core subjects, 2 Regional Research Projects, 8 electives plus 1 Action Learning Project (ALP) aligned to the chosen specialist field.

Semesters I to IV
In Semesters I to IV inclusive, student would study 5 subjects per semester - 4 general business subjects and 1 liberal arts subject.
Prior to commencing study in semester V, each student would select one specialized business area for more intensive study. -
Semesters V to VII
In semesters V to VII inclusive, each student would study 2 specialized business subjects and 2 general business subjects.

Semesters VIII
In semester VIII, each student would study 2 specialized business subjects and will be required to undertake 1 major project aligned to his/her chosen specialized area of study. In making their choice of specialist business subjects a student shall choose at least 6 subjects from an area of specialization and the remaining 2 subjects may be chosen from any of the other subjects listed under the specialized business areas of study. In choosing subjects and their sequencing each student would consult with their course advisor.

Eligibility
What we are looking for
Students must have completed high school/secondary school/junior college or some equivalent form of secondary education and placed in the top 25% of their class. Students are shortlisted on the basis of their Year 10 or most recent Board exam (taken in the past 2 years) and S P Jain Entrance Test (SPJET) or SAT score. S P Jain accepts transfer students into the BBA program. Inorder to assess their eligibility and for the admission criteria for transfer to credits, students may write to bba@spjain.org. The eligibility criteria vary for students of different origin. Details of the same are mentioned below :-
Indian Applicants
The acceptable requirements for Year 12 :
Successful completion of the All India Senior School Certification Examination (CBSE) or the India School Certificate (ISC) Year 12 exam or the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from the Indian State Boards with a minimum of 70%.
International Baccalaureate (IB) :
Completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with no fewer than 30 points gained through the study of at least six subjects, three of which should be at the higher level. -
Australian Applicants
The acceptable requirements for Year 12 :
Completion of the NSW Higher School Certificate with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 85 or greater or its interstate equivalent.
Completion of an approved course at the level of Certificate IV taken at a registered provider of technical and vocational education in NSW or its interstate equivalent.
International Baccalaureate (IB) : Completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with no fewer than 30 points gained through the study at least six subjects, three of which should be at the higher level. Possession of qualifications deemed equivalent to either of the above three points. -
International Applications
The acceptable requirements for Year 12 :
International Baccalaureate (IB) : Completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with no fewer than 30 points gained through the study of at least six subjects, three of which shall be at the higher level.
A levels : A minimum of grades B, B, B in 3 Advanced level subjects in the same sitting. -
English Language Requirements
All students would be expected to demonstrate an acceptable proficiency in English. This would be assessed during the evaluations.
There is no English Language score required for admission to S P Jain. When transferring to Sydney, students must secure an acceptable English Language score. This is mandatory for obtaining an Australian visa. Full details on the English language requirements for Australian student visas are available here.

Indian Applicants

Apply
There is no application fee.
Fill out the application form. This can be done online. Please save, print, or copy the online form for your future reference.
A student needs to submit only one application. In fact, duplication of applications may lead to a student's form/admission being disqualified.
It is not necessary to have Year 12 results in hand at the time of application. In case the Year 12 results are not in hand, selected students will be offered conditional admission to the program. -
Aptitude Test
Students need to take either SAT or the S P Jain Entrance Test (SPJET). The SPJET would be conducted periodically in multiple cities. Based on the test results and the overall profile a candidate will be shortlisted for the evaluations (essays and interview).
Entrance Test (SPJET) Fee - USD 45
Upon payment of test fees, a student can reappear for the SPJET a total of 3 times.
As the SPJET is for internal assessment, scores will not be released to students. Students will be notified by email if they meet the requirements for admission. Click here to view a sample test paper (answers are also highlighted).
Detailed procedure for the aptitude test, its payment, and its centers, will all be uploaded on the website prior to the test. -
Evaluations
The admissions team shortlists applications based on past academic performance, entrance test scores, English language proficiency, and other achievements.
Shortlisted students are required to pay an Evaluation Fee of USD 55 prior to requesting for an evaluation date.
Students may attend the evaluations before their Year 12/IB results are declared, but the results must be submitted by August 10, 2014. Students not holding Year 12 results in hand may be offered conditional admission based upon their evaluations, overall profile, and English language proficiency. -

Annual Registration Fees :
1 Students accepting the offer by April 30, 2014 would be given a rebate of USD 500. The rebate is for the Academic year 2014-15 only
Books :
An invoice would be raised per semester (an estimated cost per semester may be taken at USD 300-350)
Visas :
2 On completion of year 2 in Dubai, the visa would need to be cancelled . The visa charge covers the cancellation charge.
3 Australia visa - Students would be personally responsible for obtaining the visa. S P Jain would facilitate and assist with all the documentation. Visa fees would be paid by students as applicable. Students are required to demonstrate sufficient financial resources to cover their expenses towards tuition fees, living, travel and/or any other personal expenses. We recommend that students familiarize themselves of the visa requirements to ensure their eligibility for issuance of a student visa. Visas for Dubai and Singapore would be processed by S P Jain on receipt of all fees.
Insurance :

Note :
- Registration fees are payable each year along with the first semester fees for the year
- The tuition fees are to be paid in 2 installments - 50% per semester
- All other fees are to be paid prior to the commencement of the program/academic year
